Due Jan 18 - struggling to find a midwife!

   Hi ladies

New to forum (and pregnancy for that matter).
TTC for the past 5 years. Am currently 7 weeks pregnant, due 10th of January 2018 according to the calculators.

My struggle currently is trying to find a midwife.
They either "don't take patients in January" (wth?)
Don't bother responding at all.
Prefer the other side of town (wth?)

I'm in Christchurch, live in Bromley, work in Riccarton, fully mobile and have 2 vehicles so no issues going a bit farther for anything.

Has anyone got any suggestions on any midwives that might be able to help me out?
