Topic: frustrated... Posted: 11 December 2006 at 8:16am |
Hi
I've been on here before asking many a question (recently started ttc) but now I just want somewhere to share my frustration!
I am currently on the other side of the world and travelling around a bit. After holding out for as long as I could (DH is of the 'wait and see' variety), we decided to get a test a couple of days ago. Well... all the pharmacies were shut early and we'd been out in the middle of nowhere all day so couldn't have gone earlier. Then we decided that's okay we'd get one today (ready to test first thing tomorrow) but all the pharmacies are shut here on a Sunday! And we have no idea where the afterhours ones are - if there are any.
So now i have to keep waiting... I know I should be more patient, but I just can't.
(and sorry for the long moan)

dont be sorry, as all the mummies on here and the mummies to be know...its so frustrating having to wait to take a test as we are all just so impatient.
I hope you find somewhere that sells the tests and that you get the results that you want

Watch a movie? I sure understand the impatient factor, it's so hard when you can't do anything about it!

well, finally found an open pharmacy. I had to get told how to read the test by the pharmacist - it was all in another language.
sadly, a bfn. I guess the waiting game is still on. Not in a regular cycle yet, so I've got no idea when to try testing again. I'm thinking at least another week - I'll try to hold off for longer if i can manage it.

Chin up love!
I know exactly what you mean. I'm still all over the place with my cycles. It's hard to not test, I feel your frustrations!!!! I'm espcially finding it hard being the silly season when every five minutes there's a work do, or party, all of which involve alcohol!!!
When do you come home? You might find your cycles settle back down once you're in a routine again.

Thanks! It's always good to have some support from people in the same boat.
It's quite a while before we come home. Lots more travelling before then, Christmas and NY too... it's crazy because I'm trying not to drink booze at all and it's really hard figuring out what to eat when we're always eating out and in foreign countries. I'm trying to avoid the wrong foods 'just in case'.
