I'm after a bit of advice here, trying to deal with my lack of patience (and finances)...
We started trying recently, straight after coming off the pill (so no idea of predicted ovulation or when AF's due) and now: my boobs are bigger and I have a full-on metallic taste in my mouth.
So... should I be getting really excited or could these still be side effects of coming off the pill? I know the metallic taste is a pg thing - but is it too soon for it to be happening?
Also how early has anyone had a BFP? I figure I should really wait another week before testing (that'd be 3 weeks after my last pill), but I have noooooo patience! Though the cost of tests here (in Europe at the moment - no $2 shop here!) is very high and I'm reluctant to be wasteful.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated (and sorry for the long post).
I would wait another week it cant hurt. While there are people like me out there who get early results they are rare and you dont want to disappoint yourself. I know its easier said than done but i would say wait another week or 2 even.
First two pregnancies i got BFP 10 days after conception (yeah I knew when it would have been to the day hehe)with my last pregnancy I didnt get it till after my period was due, would have been about 16 days I think so it really can very. If you can hold out I would or you could buy two, one for now and one for in a week.

To be sure you might need to wait until 4 weeks after your last pill. Sometimes if you buy pt in packs of more than one they are cheaper or check out ebay for bulk cheap ones. You can always sell them on if you don't need them all.
As for symptoms, most people find that the symptoms of early pregnancy are quite similar to those around AF time. I'd wait another week or maybe two (I know it's hard but it's better than trying too early just to get a BFN) and am hoping you get the BFP you're wanting!
