Is it advisable to use hCG after surgery?

I ask because of anecdotal reports of delayed recovery from injuries during pregnancy. Since hCG is the main hormone of pregnancy, I was curious, since I will have orthopedic surgery in the near future.

In addition, I just recently tried HCG for the first time, and it caused me a very strange pain in my back between the ribs and at the junction of the ribs with the sternum. Has anyone here experienced this before? I found several similar messages from people who have tried the hCG diet.
