Topic: Jumping forums Posted: 24 July 2006 at 8:54pm |
Heya ladies,
I just noticed a comment by Slyvia about "jumping over" to another forum. Not that this is a bad thing, but I just wanted to let you all know that I, for one, would value any input you ladies had on any topic! I know most of you can't be bothered reading about toddlers and associated poo antics (refer my latest thread ) but I don't want you to feel like just because you don't yet have a demon child to contend with, that you aren't "allowed" to post.
I quite frequently intrude into your TTC threads... I hope that I'm not out of line in doing that?
Anyway, happy BDing TTCers Hope to hear from you over "our side" soon

i don't really even worry too much which forum is which, i guess i just choose which one fits whatever topic i am posting about best. - i just use active topics so really they are all there for everyone to use.

sorry i didnt mean to ofeend anyone nor cause trouble by my comment. I have no knowledge to share what so ever about children ( having not had them myself) but was only joking when I said i was heading back to the "otherside". I can also appreciate there are some people out there in the world who do not like people with no children commenting about some situations as they do not have first hand experience themselves. Does that make sense or have I made the situation worse? (sorry!!!)

sylvo, just because you have not had your kids yet, doesnt mean you havn't got anything to share or a point of view to give. i have not charted or tried for a long period to concieve or had a c section or loads of other things, but i still comment :)
sometimes it can take someone a step removed from a situation to give the freshest perspective.... so dont ever stop doing that. besides, you will be there soon enough, up to your elbows in nappies and cio discussions!

I agree - i love to see people pop into topics and when ttc it was great to see the success stories return and add to information sharing...
We all have something to add to one another and this topic leaping should def continue...
I go between so many topics and hope that any info I put in is appreciated and taken for what it is....infromation sharing with others in a similar topic of interest

I think its relly cool how we can get different peoples views, with or without kids - I dont see that it should matter really, it just makes for more viewpoints...
