Hey chicky babes! I'm back from my wee hiatus ...though I won't be online quite as ...energetically (?) ... as before ...me internet connection at the new job is a bit horrific and it takes 50 million hours to load each page! AARRGGHH!!

Anyway - my news! I had the most horrific visit from AF ever last month and thought "bugger this!". The back ache just hasn't gone away and I'm knackered - so I went to the doctor, who gave me a referral to an endo specialist. I phoned the specialist to make an appointment, and they'd had a cancellation that morning and instead of waiting 3 months for the next appointment, I was able to get in yesterday!

She said she was very glad I'd come to see her, and that she suspected that I do indeed have endo which is why TTC just isn't working out as well ...and I'm in for surgery asap. I'm just waiting for my pre-approval from my insurance company which will be through within 5 working days from today/tomorrow, and so surgery will probably be within a few weeks after that.

And THEN, hopefully (!!) the baby factory will be up and running! Poor Al has to provide a sample too though, but he's quite relaxed about that bless him. Lucky for us, the specialist is also a fertility specialist, and so if things don't get better after the endo is cleaned out, we're under a specialist and well on the way to formal fertility treatment! Yippee! She said that if we don't get preggers soon after the op, we'll be taking hte next step ...whatever the hang that is!

Anywho ...hope all is well with everyone else

xoxo

My Andrew is a product of getting the endo taken out and then getting pregnant straight after, so I wish you the best of luck. I had mine taken out in April and was pregnant in July, we just said we'll try that month and it happened. The down side to me was that it came back again 9 months after having Andrew and I had to get it taken out again. I last had the op last Feb and was very lucky to get pregnant in May this year.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Hi again

Thanks so much for your kind wishes everyone ...hopefully you're all right, and it'll be the answer to things. I'm also having my tubes flushed in case there are any blockages. Hopefully we'll have everything covered!

Have a good day!
