Topic: Worth a trip to the doc? Posted: 03 September 2007 at 9:52am |
Wow this family is driving me bananas this morning! We've all had colds over the last few days (sore throat, pressure in ears, dribbling noses, and a bit of a cough) and Hannah and I are fine now. Briona is grizzly, unreasonable, getting into everything she shouldn't (laundry powder, toilet paper, perfume, and the list goes on.... yes that was all this morning... ) and Kryssi is quite grizzly herself too. She's a little bit rumbly in the chest but it's just bronchilitis (upper chest, not deep/wheezy).
So... is it worth a trip to the doc for Kryssi's (and perhaps Briona's) comfort? Briona probably has a day left and Kryssi 2. Briona's been sleeping more during the day (over the weekend) so she's probably managing ok. (Just me that isn't lol!)
Kryssi is a bit harder to manage. But will the Doc just prescribe TLC and patience, and therefore a trip would be a waste of time, or is it worth taking her?

Might be worth a trip for Kryssi. I hear you though, it just doesn't seem worth the trip and the compulsory 40-min wait in a waiting room with other sick people just to find out that rest is the biggest thing that'll help, and the trip to the Doc exhausted the baby! I'd definantly go if she starts wheezing or coughing though. Good luck! Hope everyone's all better soon.

I've decided I will do it, and get the ears checked at the same time (x3). Thanks Andie
Oh and it's his last available slot today - at 4.15 Only a 40 minute wait you reckon?
