Nah it's not too early, I started about half way and continued right throughout my pregnancy, I ended up getting washable breast pads to catch the leaks
In my antenatal classes, someone there started at about 24 weeks - poor her! Usually you only leak colostrum until baby is born (or so I've heard), I didn't ever leak anything until after my milk came in (day 2-3).
If I squash my right boob it leaks but the left is better behaved. By squash I mean I just need to push down above then nipple like when Iam trying to look at it and uh oh there it goes.
I started leaking at about 20-23 weeks and continued right through. Yip go for the washable breastpads. If you start early washable ones work out cheaper.
With Sienna I didn't leak at all, but I will have to wait and see this time my boobs are way bigger then what they were with her and I'm only nearly 19 weeks!
