Andrew is growing at the moment (getting very tall), but he has some wicked mood swings at the moment and he seem to be annoying Josh a lot more and getting grumpy for no reason.
Anyone else had a child with growing pains and they are also very grumpy???
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
hey Becks, Paris went through growing pains alot of last year (which of course makes alot of sense now, since we measured her the other day and she's grown 15cm in a year! which we truely beleive is mostly in her now very spindly legs)
she got very grumpy and upset when her legs were sore. we got lovely heat packs from farmers (the gel warmer ones in shapes - that we could put in the microwave) and she'd chill out with those on her legs once she knew that she could tell us when they were hurting.
We also, when they were at their worst, would massage her legs before bed as that was when it would hurt alot at the end of the day.
so yes, in a nutshell, she got grumpier... but we found some ways to try and help her and she seemed to be happier to know that she could let us know when that was happening .... if that makes sense.
I had growing pains as a child but only when I hit puberty. My ankles and sometimes wrists would hurt a lot and I had to put them up - often my ankles would swell after we went out shopping. Anyway, slightly OT but I would have been demanding a certain level of TLC at that time.
