Topic: This may be unnecessarily cherry... Posted: 05 June 2007 at 12:45pm |
but I'm just making my 3rd cup of tea for the day and having some seafood chowder for lunch. Was just thinking that I'm spending this week having the odd wine, drinking tea and eating salami (homemade pizza yum!).
So what things are you guys making the most of while you go through the wait for ovulation?
I'm also climbing the wall in anticipation as well!!!

I usually indulge in taking pain releif medication that I usually wouls shy away from if doing the 2ww. Its a good feeling knowing I can take it and Im not harming a little one. Plus copious amounts of V, chocolate, shaved ham sammies, and as you said, salami!
Come on ladies, Im intrigued to hear what you indulge in.

Thanks BumbleFoot, was beginning to think I was the only one to make the most of those few days of eating and drinking whatever I wanted!
Um, a little concerned about you only eating chocolate during this time. Is there something in choc that isn't so good once you're preg?? Is a little ok? Please say yes, please say yes! I need a little every other day.

Wine, coffee, V, chocolate, seafood.....
All the things I love and crave when I can't have! And then get angry having missed out on them when another silly AF shows up. Oh well, will make the most of it for the next couple of months!

Konagirl, dont worry about the chocolate, eat as much as you like!
It isnt harmful, I just eat more of it during the waiting for O than 2ww! But when you see the amount of chocolate I consume, you wull be convinced we will concieve a child with a chocolate addiction!
So eat away!

Really? Um, is 3 cups of tea a day ok? I thought I'd cut back to 1.
And salami? Man, I don't apparently know anything!!
Did however have a glass of wine last night and it might be the last for awhile.

It all depends on the type of tea. Check the back of the packaging to be sure.

Drink away with the tea, Im assuming its the ordinary kind that we Kiwis seem to have an addiction to? I drink about 7-8 cups of it a day, and dont plan to cut down at all. I think we can go a bit too overboard when it comes to what we should and shouldnt consume. Just think, its got to be better for you than coffee...

they usually say to avoid tea because the Tanin (SP??) in it depleats the iron in your body which you need to keep good and healthy for a wee bubs.
