Zaara has 7 teeth, she is nearly 18 months old. She has 3 top front teeth, 2 top molars and 2 front bottom teeth...that is it. Should I start getting worried that none of her other bottom ones have come out? do I see a dentist?? He bottom gums have been all puffy looking for ages now but no teeth.

Please tell me this is normal. Her two top molar on both sides came out at the begining of the month together.

Im pretty sure its normal if she has puffy gums they may be pushing through haleighs eye teeth took 2 months to come thorugh and it was jsut puffy gums for that long. shes nearly 19months and has 6 coming throguh still atm so I think we only have another 6?? not sure really.
they dont usualyl get overly concerned till 2 when you take them to the dentist for the first time anyway, its only really if theres no teth at all by 18months i think.
maybe ask your plunket nurse?

I wouldnt worry too much about it. McKayla has 10 teeth at the moment. 4 on top and 4 bottom and 2 bottom molars.

I need to go register McKayla with the school dentist when schools open again as she apparently needs to go get checked once a year. So maybe just make an appointment for Zara for her annual check up and get it looked at the same time.

It's perfectly ok if there's no first tooth until 15mos or so, so I reckon she's fine.

Okay me bad mom. I thought McKayla cut her other molar. Seems she has only one.
