seasonal viruses

Hello to all guys maybe tell me what uses the old and trusted methods of treatment and prevention of seasonal flu and colds??
just recently I gave birth to baby Emily
and I'm very afraid that the baby did not catch anything and did not catch a cold
since my husband is sick regularly once a month +/-
