QuoteReplyTopic: Advise? Pos hpt 17 days after chemical Posted: 14 April 2016 at 8:51am
Hi a quick question :-) I had a chemical pregnancy 2 Tuesdays ago, my last hcg draw 2 weeks ago was only 19, I took a hpt this morning and have a faint but definate positive. Anyone have a positive this london after a chemical and not be pregnant? Thanks guys
Thanks Nell :-) Yes it was a frer. . so will test again and see if it gets darker then bloods if not darker will give it another week.. I had some signs of early ov about 7 days ago but didn't think I did
Please go and see your doc as it may have not been a chemical pregnancy after all. After my history with ectopics stuff like this makes me question. I'm not saying you are the same just please get checked out 😀
TTC #2 since July 2014. Have had 3 ectopics May 15, Oct 15 and Aug 16. IVF is the only option now as no tubes left DD1 born Jan 14
Thanks guys Thanks Kumeroa I will get checked out if the line doesn't go away in the next few tests I tested again this morning faint bfp but lighyer so I'm thinking tail end of long winded chemical
Hmm.. I did use a first response frer which is the only one in nz that I aware of that can pick up under 25, on fact it is so sensitive they have had alot of complaints about "false positives" or more likely very early chemical pregnancies... oh why do we do this to ourselves! I took one this morning and it was neg, I'm also pretty sure I have just ovulated. So confusing I never thought I would see a pos hpt so close to ovulating after Mc, it's nuts! Thanks for your advise guys... will likely be popping back over to the tww X
Oh yeah First Response can totally pick up hCG under 25!
After a MC or CP I usually test every 3-4 days until I get a negative so I know for sure my next positive is real Or I get bloods until they read under 10.
