My 5mth daughter has started getting her arms out if her wrap so I am thinking it is time to stop this, I have purchased a go go bag but am concerned about her getting cold at night.
I have suits that have cuffs on them but unfortunately she is at the state where everything goes into her mouthso these get absolutely soaked so her hands get really cold. Mitts don't work cos she is a little Harry Houdini and they manage to come off some how!

Any mums out there with any tips or tricks I would appreciate!

Cheers

As long as the room itself is at a comfortable temperature, you should find that she will be ok with her hands out, its surprising how they dont seem to notice cold cold hands and as toddlers, cold as feet!! I would avoid the cuffs etc as the material will stay wet for too long.

i was worried about the cold wet hands too when my son moved from a wrap to a sleeping bag but it doesn't bother him. As stated above, as long as the room is warm your baby will be fine. I also put my baby in a merino bodysuit which also helps keep him arms pretty warm at night.

My wee girl decided at 2 months swaddling was not for her, I have never put gloves on, but use merino bodysuit and go go bag, sometimes her hands feel 'cold' to me, but it doesnt seem to bother her at all, and as the room is about18 - 20 degrees, it is fine.... What was harder was overcoming her 'startle' reflex, but by 5 months this should'nt be a problem for yours.
