Hello

I have only just noticed that my 16 month old has upper lip tie. And we think also posterior tongue tie.

We are moving to Christchurch very soon from the UK.

Can anyone reccomend a good laser dentist in christchurch, or a specialist in tongue tie? I googled it but could only find laser dentists in Auckland.

Any advice much appreciated.

Hi. I have heard there is a guy who does it in Christchurch (only very recently available) but I flew my (now 5 month old) infant to Auckland. As far as I know people can get referrals from the hospital for infants but no idea how to get it for older children (my toddler also has ptt and lt). There are a few (2? 3?) private providers in Auckland but only one (as far as I know) does this on older babies/children. Laserlifecare.
There are not a lot of options.

I went to Laserlifecare as I had a recommendation for them and I had no local resources. I have heard there is another dentist who will do it on babies under 6 weeks, but not sure of the name. Sorry.
