Hi I'm just wondering what antenatal classes people have been to/going to/plan to go to in Lower Hutt.
My midwife recommend the one at lower hutt hospital, she thinks it has better infomation than the private ones that cost money.
But apparently the one at the hospital people don't tend to form groups afterwards.
I would really appreciate peoples recommendations.
We went to the ones at Hutt Hospital and found them good, mainly about labour and birth and little info about what to do once the baby arrives which I think is pretty important for first timers. And it all depends on the people going through but we catch up every few months with our group. Good luck :)
Parents Centre antenatal is reall good but not cheap. The groups usually stick together really well afterwards. Ours is still in touch two years later. highly recommended!
