Top baby names of 2011

We have been... I think after the years of waiting I was anticipating something spectacular and was rather disappointed. Had to go just to say we had been, probably wont be going back.

As for baby names... I was surprised our first was such a popular name (and just got popular - us trend setters )
After that I didn't seem to care so much, at least people know what my children's names are and they obviously aren't awful if everyone else likes the name too.
DD2, I think I would have preferred a slightly less common name (I do like to be a little original) but in the end that was DH's choice.

Our next name should probably come from the list too just to be fair... although the name I quite like isn't on there (although the shortened version is....) Boys names we have no idea but I am sure its more common for boys to all have similar names.....
