I think you and me are the only long-termers left Lulu! You're about to start IVF, and I've had my endo surgery - here's hoping that this is a new beginning on this long journey for us!

Yeah the long termers are dropping off, which is wonderful of course, but it must be our turn soon aye Ginger! If I wait for the publicly funded IVF it still could be in excess of 8 months before I start a cycle. Boo hoo I can't wait that long, so I am seeing a specialist on Monday to see whether I can start a private cycle before Christmas. Fingers crossed!
I hope that you have a BFP really soon now that you have had your endo sorted Ginger.

Hehe ...
I feel *very* pleased with myself
Just out of curiosity (and budgeting purposes if we're going to be realistic about it) - what is the price tag on a private cycle of IVF Lulu? Any idea at this stage?

Ginger the private cycle of IVF is around the $10K mark. Guess what? I had my appt with Dr Buddicom at Fertility Associates and I have started the IVF cycle today! So if this was successful (trying not to get my hopes up tooooooo high!) we would be pregnant before Christmas!
Gosh I hope so...
