As we have two children in nappies we're trying to get the best deal we can. I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Red Stamp nappies from the Warehouse?

Also could anyone enlighten me what the difference is between Giga, Super Dry and Ordinary Huggie nappies?

Thank you.

standard size packs of huggies are $8.99 this week at the warehouse. I found HOME BRAND from countdown the best cheaper alternative to huggies.

I've found homebrand from countdown better than huggies they're longer in the rise for catching those poosplosins.

Are they the 365 ones? I've tried the 365 ones and they were great. I am pretty sure I tried one with a red logo from there too and it was fine!

I also like homebrand nappies!

Thanks ladies. We're a fan of homebrand nappies here too. Just looking at other options that may be more cost effective.

The 'super dry' huggies are parallel import huggies.
The standard huggies like you also see at the supermarked are NZ huggies.
We use both.

If you want the most cost effective option, go cloth. If you can sew, its even better - I brought the fabric for mine from Greenbeans (online) and ended up paying about $5 per nappy. Pays for itself pretty quick. But you have to want to go cloth.

Thanks, but cloth isn't for us. I did it with my first daughter and got really fed up with her constantly wetting though everything.

The Gigi and super dry huggies are the uk version. They moved away from the girl and boy versions some years ago and so it coud be thought that these are actually superior to the Nz huggies?

Thank you for that information Richtea!

I bit the bullet and bought some of the redstamp branded ones. They are great - very similar to homebrand.

How about places like nappies for less or nappies online?? My sil gets her nappies from there and they work out to be cheap as chips (apparently ??) worth trying.
