I'm on approx 9DPO and I'm going nuts over whether or not I should test this week or wait for AF to show up which should be this coming weekend.

Sore lower back (unusual)
Off my food for a few days but as of today starving hungry
Cramping since 1DPO (unusual, last time I got cramping right after ov I was pregnant)
Creamy CM and lots of it
On again off again mild nausea over the last couple of days
Really tired
Hot at night (unusual specially with how colds its been)
Restless sleep
BBs tingly (almost like letdown when BFing) but not sore
Stuffy nose specially while lying down
Cervix has gone high but still firm
'pornstar' nipples lol well they've been way more prominent than normal anyway
Have been taking bbt for the last few days so I know its not as accurate as it would be if I'd done it the whole cycle (I wasn't expecting this lol) but vaginal temp has been 37 - 37.1 while mouth temps have been over 36.5 consistently even though I've been sleeping with my mouth open thanks to stuffy nose (pretty picture right there ) and I've been waking up freezing cold after kicking my blankets off during the night coz I've been so hot ETA my normal bbt last time I was charting was under 36 degrees...

Normally if I'm gonna get PMS it'll happen well about now lol but DH has said I'm emotional but definitely not PMS-y. I also generally get abit crampy a day, 2 max, before AF is due. Uhm I never get hot at night, I love my layers and my hot water bottle but I've had to kick it out of bed the last few nights! I don't usually have any change with my bbs, they don't get sore or anything.

Off the tops of your heads would you test or wait for AF to show up?? Should I be getting my hopes up or not bother? I really just need opinions to help me obsess even more help??

Oh FYI I'm a longtime OBer with a new handle since I want to do this on the down-low

Haha I always reckon wait to test even although it is an agonizing wait. But whilst I've been UTD 4 times I have never got any different symptoms though from normal pre-menstrual feelings so nothing to tempt me! But in saying that I still always tested the day AF was due.

Fingers crossed for you!

Hi Blissful - I'm 9dpo too and have been agonising over testing too!! I don't have the long list of symptoms you have just tender bb's, stuffy nose and sore throat. I used to get terrible pms with sore bb's before I started natural hormone therapy hence why I'm wondering....could I be??? Been ttc for almost 2yrs so have given up testing each cycle as leads to too much upset but this time I am soooooo tempted!

So in answer to whether or not you test - 9dpo is a bit early really so if you can wait to say 11 or 12 dpo test then if you still think you're in with a chance. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I would wait. With both of my pregnancies i waited till i was 1-2 days late (and only tested once). I just didn't wanna drive myself crazy if it was negative and be left wondering if i had tested too early or just weren't pregnant or be trying to work out if there was a line there or not. Hehe.

ETA: Good luck!

I was so strong tonight lol had to go to the supermarket and stood there staring at the tests willing them to start flashing positive but I resisted the {almost overwhelming} desire to actually buy a box! Glad I'm not the only one who agonises though Deb how did you get through the 2ww? Everytime I feel a twinge I'm immediately wondering what it means and its not fun - its definitely moved into 'crazy obsessive' and its stressful for me and DH both! Yet I can't seem to unhook my brain from the constant cycle of 'is it/isn't it/it can't be/it could be'... ARGH!!!

Haha I know what you mean about the obsessing! My question is, how long have you been ttc? I have had all your symptoms over the last couple of years, and a few more (not always at the same time, never noticed them pre ttc) and I'm still not preg. Particularly the tingly boobs thing - had that last month, though 'oooh, this is new' but nope.

You could test, to satisfy yourself. But then there is also the risk (which I always fall for) that a bfn doesn't send you into despair, it just makes you think that its not showing yet, so you STILL obsess! I took a test at 16dpo, the most negative you could have, and I still thought, 'Oh, that means nothing yet!!' I think I'm too positive!!!

In your case though, it is quite a list of symptoms, so GOOD LUCK!!

If you test too early and it is negative you will not only be dissapointed but will still be wondering if you are pregnant until tthe day AF is late. So not really accomplishing anything. It happened to me, tested too early and it was negative but something told me I was preggo. And I tested 2 days after AF was due and it came up very + Good luck

BFP

Got it today - really strong, came up immediately and dark I went to the doc to get it so I have witnesses lol very very positive!!

Thanks everyone, it was way better to wait and get a definite than test too early and deal with a BFN!

Yay congrats! I had a feeling you'd be back with good news.

I'll take some of that baby dust for when we start TTC in a few months.
