Dh and I have decided to look into getting a cleaner for a house but want to make sure we can trust them. Dh has had his house burgled before so he's a bit cautious about having someone we don't know come into the house and clean. We would be looking at 2-3 hours a week (usual cleaning plus oven/windows every month or two months).
So can anyone recommend a company, and what do they do for you and how much do they cost?

We use a cleaner from Select Cleaning. Each cleaner owns their own franchise which I like.

She is $50 p/w for 2 x bedrooms, bathroom/toilet, kitchen, living areas and laundry.

If you want I can PM the name of our cleaner so you can ask for someone specifically. We've had her for a year now.

We use Green Acres - they have franchises all over Wellington. I have used them in Johnsonville and Miramar and always been happy with them. I only get them in once a fortnight - we have a three bedroom, two bathroom house and it's $65 a fortnight. If you ring the main number (0800 803 200) they will send someone round to give you a quote.

AbzandH, thanks for the offer but we would be more comfortable with a company for our and the cleaners safety.

Think I'll contact green acres and select cleaning and get some quotes. Thanks.
