Im really stuck for ideas for what to do with my DD1 on these rainy days, especially now that we cant go play in the rain with DD2 here.
We've got playdough, puzzles, colouring in, painting, bubbles, books and of course the wiggles! but we do those all the time so they dont keep her entertained for long.
What does everyone else do with their kids when its raining all day?

Make a hut in the lounge with a couple of chairs and a sheet. Take toys and snacks in there for a picnic.

Baking and helping with the washing up afterwards.

Tea Parties - can last a good hour in our house.

R loves playdough at the mo aswell and we also blow up balloons and use the glad wrap tubes and fly swats to hit them all around the lounge, make huts, he loves sitting with a magazine and scissors and just cutting lol we build with blocks, I just got him a pack of sesame street cards recently and have tought him the memory card game and he loves that aswell as snap, he enjoys music and dancing, helping to make dinner and baking, he has a bit of down pipe that he sends his cars (and whatever else will go down it) down....keeps him amused for ages lol strange boy haha he also likes it when I fill the sink up with bubble water and give him the scrubbing brush and he does the dishes (the floor gets a good clean in the aftermath aswell lol ) hope some of that gives you some more ideas..
