Alex is nearly 10 months and is still having trouble eating anything other than food thats really pureed. We have started doing solids first and making them a bit chunky with mixed results but do you have any suggestions for snack foods between feeds? He doesn't have any teeth yet.

Taine loves sucking on buit of ripe fruit - bananas are a favourite....put him in a high chair though cause we let Taine eat on the floor and now the carpet have brown biot of banana imbedded in the fibre

Will Alex take toast crust? Dry or a little bit of marmite, doesn't matter that he doesn't have teeth yet he'll probably enjoy sucking it.
