Is horrifying and shocking as it must be to the family, I hope that it brings them some relief that they have (hopefully) caught who did it.

Wow I was shocked too when I read this!
It is usually the case where the offender is close to the victim/s
I feel so bad for Scotts wife and children I hope they can get some sort of closure from this
RIP Scott

I have just read the article too - how tragic for the family
But I have to say that it is more likely for the victim to know their attacker than it be a total stranger.

I thought it would be someone he knew but was shocked to see it was his BIL. Disgusting that he was a pallbearer at his funeral. I really feel for both families. Must be such an awful thing to be going through.

Yea but after all this time & investigating i doubt they would make an arrest without hard evidence.

Yep, but you don't want people getting off on technicalities so you are best not to go there on a public forum.

It is heartbreaking. I can't begin to imagine how it is affecting all those involved.

I'm sure the police had good reasons to arrest him, and I'm equally sure innocent people have been arrested before. I'll wait till after a trail to assume anything. One thing I'm sure of, whether he walks or goes down lots of people are going to think the wrong thing happened, it's the nature of a case like this.
Whatever the stroy is, I feel gut-wrenchingly sorry for the poor family. They must be going through hell.

Ditto to what you said Hopes. This is a tragic event for all concerned. Scott Guy's Dad has said that potentially they could have 6 grandchildren being raised without Dads - that is the really sad part.
