For the last 2 or 3 weeks DS hasn't been pooing like he used to.

Originally he was a 7.30am pooer, it would be one big one, you know the yellow ones with bits of white through it (sorry if TMI) that require 3 or 4 flannels.

But, lately he has been pooing at every nappy change and it is often only a small amount, none of the chunky white bits and usually only requiring 1 flannel a time.

Am I worrying over nothing??

Oh and he is BF, no solids as yet

I'd say something could be upsetting him.

Is the consistency the same as normal? If it is I'd not worry about it, if it's not then it could be something

It is fairly runny, perhaps runnier than it normally was, but there isn't really enough of it in the nappy to guage a consistency as such. Its definately not like the constipated poos he was doing when he was on gaviscon. It is slightly darker than normal too.

Have a look at his gums, are they widening & red?

Have you got a teething necklace? Helped heaps here.

Yeah I've had a necklace on him every day since about 3months. Just had a look in his mouth and there are 2 teeth looking very obvious at the front of his gums and yeah his gums have got wider.  I'm seeing the nurse at the doctor today so will have a chat to her too JIC

Thanks Kel and Renee.
