you can try the likes of metamucil or fibresecure or phloe (this is kiwifruit though)

or coloxyl and senna tablets from the chemist, they are a softener and a mild laxative. take 2 at night and u should go ok in the morning.

Kiwicrush, you get it from the supermarket. That's what my midwife recommended to me.

Or Coloxyl, my gran takes that lol

very common after childbirth, just what you need!
I had this and found kiwi crush really good, and heaps of water and trying to walk a bit. This was tricky as i had a c section, keeping moving as much as you can.

I had the same problem after a c-section so know how uncomfortable it can be - I was in tears one night from it. The best thing that worked for me was Kiwifruit juice - I had Nekta Kiwifruit juice found in the juice section at the supermarket.

I also had lactulose at the hospital - it is a syrupy type liquid. I am pretty sure your MW can prescribe more as my MW offered it when I got home (I think it needs a prescription but I could be wrong, you may be able to get from the pharmacy?).

kiwi crush is awesome - that and All Bran cereal combined should fix you in no time.

I had truckloads of kiwicrush - can't recommend it highly enough. Next time I am going to stock up before having the baby!
