Hey there,

We are currently considering trying for baby number 3 - but we having trouble committing either way.

I think one of our concerns is future finance stuff i.e putting the children through University etc etc.

Twins run in the family.... as do Triplets!

What are your thoughts on going from 2 to 3 children, is it just too hard? What if we end up with TWINS??   Could it be a decision we could live to regret??

Hmmmmm - any thoughts welcome!

Feeling very very clucky!
Thanks

I don't think you'd regret it.    I mean, usually the love that you feel when you first cuddle them, when they look at you and all those first smiles and giggles make you forget about other things.

We only have two kids, but definitely planning a third and a fourth at some stage.   We're not all that well off, but I think you tend to just adjust to having another child.

I think if you're clucky, and you want another child and so does your husband, then go for it!     New babies are awesome!   Pregnancy not so fun, but totally worth it in the end.

You never regret the children you have, just the ones you don't!!

Sometimes you have to go with how you really feel, money is important of course, but how do you REALLY feel?? You will find ways to stretch money, and of course once they are all at school you are able to work again (if you don't now). Will you regret not having #3 in 5-10 yrs time?? (hard to answer I know)
We are 17.5wks with number 4 (we had our twins first . We will have 4 kids under 3yrs 7mths, but we just KNEW it was the right decision for us! Our family didn't feel complete. We will struggle sometimes with money, but I am working on our budget, and how we live to cut costs as much as possible! Cloth nappies, cooking from scratch, preserving excess fruit etc for winter, making my own cleaning products....all help keep the cost down.

Good luck with your decision, it is a hard one!

This is the way im leaning - dont want to regret not doing when we were young enough?!

Our eldest is going to be 5 in Oct, and our youngest will be 4 in Feb.

We have twins & triplets in our family, which have skipped a generation..... scary stuff!

How do you make your own cleaning products??

I have found all my cleaning product recipes on Trademe. There is a thread in recipes called Budgets who needs them......ME!!! that is great, full of cost cutting ideas. There is also a thread called We don't buy it cos we make it! that has tonnes of recipes, simple things like sauces, gravies, cheap dinners baking etc, all things you can do to reduce your grocery bill.
Also google Wendyl Nissen, she has a book and a website fill of natural and cheap products you can make at home.
