Ok, so basically our really good routine has gone to s^*&!!! I had DD going down at 7pm, waking at 6-7am, feed every 3 hours with three 1.5-2 hr sleeps a day and 1 nap in the afternoon. Nighttime routine was bottle at 6pm, bath at 6:30 and another bottle at 7 and then bed. We wouldn't hear from her until the morning...........bliss!!
Then it all changed. She all of a sudden one day started catnapping, going down at 6pm due to exhaustion and waking at 4:30am. Her daytime naps are all over the place and she's screaming by the end of the day because she's so tired. Don't get me wrong, I am soooo grateful for nightimes and her sleeping through, it's the daytime I'm trying to fix.
My questions is, if I'm wanting to get her back onto the 6-7am wake time, do I wake her if she's asleep and if she's only fed at 5am ish?? I doubt she would be hungry at 7 again and would probably get grumpy for getting her up and we would start the overtiredness at the beginning of the day!
Also, what sort of daytime sleeps do they need now, maybe she needs to start having less sleep during the day, in which case does anyone have a good routine they can share for a 3month old?
She gets very overtired very easily. She's also got reflux which probably isn't helping the situation......planning to go to the Dr's on Monday to get something for it.
The catnapping thing is wearing me out and I would like to get onto a good routine again as she's proved she is capable of doing it...... I just don't know where to start!
As you can tell I'm a routine girl, I like to plan my day and would also like more than 20-30mins to do things!
Am I being too picky or will she fall into a routine again eventually? Maybe I was just spoilt for too long there
TIA
