Topic: What is your baby wearing Posted: 24 November 2009 at 9:18am |
at night?
My boy seems to be getting hot. He is wearing a short sleeved all in one and then sleeps in a 1.5 tog. I do put a blanket on him but they are just so he's used to blankets and they don't stay on him really.
So what do you dress your baby in to sleep? And what blanket/sleeping bags do they have with that?

We have a fairly warmhouse so since it has gotten warm I've been putting Ryan in a long sleeved onesie (so his legs are bare) and then he is under one microfleece blanket that is folded in half and a lightweight merino blanket. If it's a little bit chillier at night I will sometimes put a knitted blanket just over his legs.

a tshirt and a nappy. we normally take his pants off when we put him down cos he is normally in jeans. he has a sheet and a wool blanket and a safety sleep. apparently boys tend to be hotter sleepers? dont know if its true or not.

cotton singlet and light summer cotton pj's, in a cheap cotton sleeping bag, with sheet and waffle weave cotton blanket. I'm still sleeping in Pj's and under a duvet.

our two are in sleeping bags, or winter jammies still, but it's cold and they are bad at kicking their blankets off!
Soon we will move to summer jammies

Still in a long sleeved merino top with a winter weight sleeping bag or onsie, he normally ends up the wrong end of the cot opposite to the blankets lol so hes rugged up a bit more than if he slept under his yummy warm duvet.

In a safety sleep, grobag & just a woollen cell blanket at the moment, but its been hot here over the last week. If its slightly cooler we chuck a long sleeve t on underneath, but thats the beauty of sleeping bags :)

Wow my boy isn't usually a hot sleeper but he just sweets so much at the moment when I put him to bed. Don't know why. Doesn't sound like I"m putting too much on.

A short sleeve onsie and winter pj's and socks, or a short sleeve onsie and summer pj's and a winter weight sleep bag with sleeves.
I think its too cold for summer pj's on their own, well, it is in Cadens room anyways.

A short sleeved onesie, Peke Moe, and safety sleep - no blankets at all although if it is a coldish night I will put a quilt on him... even though he just kicks it off!

Morgan has been in an all in one, light cotton bag and a sheet ... (plus I was putting a blanket over her later on if it was cold but stopped recently), but tonight went into a long sleeve body suit (so legs not covered). Jake is in summer pjs or a singlet and a cotton bag and has a light douvet over him but doesn't always stay under it. As a baby he would have been in a singlet and light bag only by now as his room was really hot.

Wow, we under-dress the girls!! They are in short sleeve onesies, a cotton sheet and a bamboo/cotton blanket. In saying that, it's never under 19 degrees in their room, and more like 22-23 degrees at the moment and man they sweat!!

It seems like I'm another to under-dress!! DS is in summer pj's (no singlet) with a sheet and a woolen cot blanket, if it's cold I'll usually put another merino blanket on him too.

when i started dropping layers off cian's sleepwear he stopped sleeping through, so he's back to full long-sleeve/pant jammies with a quilt and a blanket if it's cold... and if it's really cold i put on a shortsleeved merino onesie as well

Ashley has been wearing a cotton all in one (no singlet), a muslin wrap and a summer go-go bag and she has been too hot! But I am scared to reduce down to anything less in case she gets too cold. So hard to know.

Soft cotton short-sleeved onsie, longsleeved soft cotton all-in-one PJs with no feet and a standard weight merino gogo bag.
