Spencer took a few days to get the hang of getting himself back down. Kyle learnt at the same time as he learnt to stand

I can't remember how long it took DS to figure it out, was definitely not more than a few days from learning to stand anyway.
Just show her how to bend her knees and she should get the hang of it pretty quickly.

I don't remember Bethany getting stuck standing up? At the very least I think she'd just plonk herself on her bottom in the early days. How annoying, hope Leah figures it out for you soon!!

I remember it being quite annoying when Spencer did that, especially at bedtime as he would stand up then cry cos he couldn't get back down. Hope she works it out soon, probably not much you can do in the way of showing her, they normally just get peed at you when you try and show them something.

When Caden first started standing on his own, like pulling up on furniture and stuff, he would just plonk down on his bum or fall over etc
When he started standing on his own with no furniture he just plonked onto his bum.

It took Finley about a week, don't worry she will get it and yes its so annoying when they get stuck.
try not to help her much, they figure it out pretty quick, Finley learnt doing the splits was the way at first.

haha - I'm so glad to see someone else has a child that does this. It took Ollie what felt like ages to figure out how to get down. The only thing I did to try and help was to give him one hand to hold onto - for some reason that made him much more brave. He's never plonked down onto his bottom - he carefully gets down on one knee and then the other.
I wouldn't worry too much - but I totally agree - it's a pita! Hopefully it won't take much longer!
