Well, maybe it's a crazy idea but let me share it anyway
Researches show that the earlier you introduce your child to foreign languages, the better his or her chances to speak them fluently later on are. CDs and movies in foreign languages don't contribute much to this process. The best thing is to involve your child into a live interaction with native speakers (If interested, here is one of the scientific talks about thishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fcb8nT0QC6o&feature=related).
I am a native Russian/ Ukrainian speaker and mother to a 3 months old baby girl. I do speak English and some other languages but just those two I speak without any accent. My idea is to make a sort of a language exchange coffee group for babies/young children and their parents where we can play, sing songs, read books and just interact with children using English, Russian and other languages you are fluent in. Is anyone interested?
