Topic: Weird smells Posted: 28 September 2009 at 8:18pm |
Kayla had her first taste of fish last night.. we had fresh snapper for dinner, and she loved it!
Anyway, today I noticed her poos and wees all smelled just like a fish shop! Quite a strong smell too
Nothing wrong with her..I just wondered if anyone else has had experiences with their babies eating things and the smell being similar to whatever it was they ate?

Oh salmon poos are yuck! (We haven't had snapper yet) Yep, what goes in, comes out, and if it smells strong it still smells when it comes out the other end.

This is probably TMI but I like some types fish but not most but usually when I eat it, I have the same thing happen. Freaked me out the first time! But I also can't take fish oil tabs cause I get reflux off them. Even the ones that are guaranteed!
So maybe reduce her serving size? Or try a more neutral fish like Gurnard?

I get that myself with Coffee. After a coffee, my urine smells of coffee. What goes in, definitely comes out
