Okay, not sure if this is a problem or not, but weird. Jake has, for the last three baths, pooed in the bath. He's never done this before since he was little. Now, because i figured he's not toilet trained I've not made a big deal about. I say "honey, try and tell mummy if you need to go, you can get out if you like". Anyway, today he did it and I saw him and said really calmly, "Jake do you need to get out", and he got a firght. he jumped and looked at the poo, and cried, like he knew he'd done something wrong. I got him out and had a little cuddle before he went out to get dressed, but it was just weird. he's not the sort of kid to act like that. Any ideas?

Well, wouldn't you be a little frightened if you had a poo floating in your bath?!?!?!

Hannah did it for a while too. I think it's just a timing thing. (You know how they get into pooing patterns at certain times of the day?) So it might just take a few days before he changes his "timing" and then you'll be right! (Personally I hate it when Hannah's poo time is right before she goes to sleep. In a nice new dry nappy. But no. )

Alternatively, you could encourage him to go before his bath?

Apparently because water is really relaxing it can relax all bits and make it a lot easier to poo in the bath. I'd follow Nikki's great advice - sheck out the poo patterns and see if you can 'catch' him before he plants a floater.

Haha that's a little scary but a little funny about Jake getting a fright about the little poo in the bath. So so cute. As nikki said- wouldn't you get a fright to? Haha. Poor darl...
No advice from me- but what Emeldee and Nikki said about the patterns is good.
Maybe see if he needs to go before he gets in the bath to? I'm not sure if that'll help... I havent even got a bubs yet... But anyways...
