If you breastfed, did you find certain things you ate affected your baby? If so - what foods and what was the effect?

Dairy and Wheat for me.
Both girls were sensitive to it when I was BF'ing. Eimear would get a sore tummy and endure 3 days of pain before it was out of her system.
Aoife was a spilly baby during time. ( I think it was just dairy with her but can't be sure)
Now Eimear is still intolerant and Aoife is fine.

In 2nd bub cause really can't remember first!
Dairy causes excema, more spilling/reflux, cappuccino /mucousy every nappy poohs
I don't eat things like cauliflower/brocolli/onion & foods like that cause of wind issues when he was younger as well so don't know if introduced them back what would happen
eta to put icon in right place lol

It could be the cocoa though....
Anyone know if 3 squares could cause a reaction?
I also ate Tuna and dried apricots yesterday that I don't usually have

I definately think it can be cocoa. I had a few reactions in Andrew now already. He has been diagnosed with silent reflux and I definately see it get worse after certain things.
Hot chock been one of them, having anything to do with chocolate (no more cake). Anything more than mildy spiced he gets a bit upset and even too much dairy. Although I was advised not to cut dairy out totally but just to be a bit more aware.
With McKayla the only thing was iced tea.
Oh yeah normal tea and coffee makes him very upset. Can only have rooibos.

Oh grrrrr I really should be Dairy Free and Gluten free... I know I need to do it for myself.... but I guess now I need to really motivate myself, as if I'm sensitive to these things, there is a good chance that Twinkle will be too!

Icecream does it for us. So sad really, i have been icecream free for 7 months and thought id try again a little while ago to see if he had gotten over it. that night he was grumpy, not sleeping etc... sigh. I think its because i binge, like if i do have icecream i eat just about the whole tub lol. the odd bit of dairy or iceblock etc doesnt seem to bother him.
