for 8 month old?

I have bought 3 now a watties one a tommee tippee and I had one in the cupboard that is a hard teet that is the only one Alex seems to be able to drink from. He has always refused to take a bottle and so can't seem to get the hang of a cup so I am wanting one that he will hopefully fall in love with and use. Thanks =)

There are a bunch of previous threads on sippy cups (search results here), and in particular I asked a similar question which I've just bumped. I thoroughly recommend that Pigeon Magmag one, not least because you can experiment with the different spouts.

Jack never took to a bottle and was fully bf. He liked the Nuby one with the soft spout but I thhink he did a lot of chewing on it. He seemed to do better with the soft spout, otherwise I had to take the valve out of the Watties one

We only really used the $2 tommee tippee ones from the supermarket. Cheap and does the job.

We found that the really cheap plain ones from the supermarket worked the best for Livvy too. She found all the flow restriction/non-spill ones too difficult to drink from.

The girls haven't taken to sippy cups so I went straight for those drink bottles that have a straw and they have adapted to them really quickly they are meant for one year + but we have used them with the girls since they were 9 months. They couldn't never get the hang of tipping the sippy cup up so with the straw all they have to do is hold the bottle and suck. I got the Tommi Tippy ones from the warehouse. They also sell them at countdown.

I hate the watties ones Dom couldn't get anything out of it and when I tried I could hardly get anything out either. In the end we got one of those Tommee Tippee ones that takes them through 3 stages, starts with a soft teat, then goes to a plastic sippy lid and then no lid at all. Its been great. I've heard that Nuby is good too.
