Topic: Anyone else feel like... Posted: 07 April 2009 at 7:22am |
they are the only ones NOT pg? I have just had yet another (close) friend tell me they are pg. Don't get me wrong, I am stoked for her as she has been trying for ages and also tried for 2 yrs to fall pg with her son who is the same age as Ashleigh. But I just want a baby too Sorry for the mini meltdown, I knew you guys would understand Doesn't help that af has showed up this morning

I know exactly how you feel! Before Alex came along for 6 years I had a meltdown every time someone close to me got pregnant. I was so bad that I only went to visit the family when I had to when my sister had a baby

Hey KH25.............Im with you!!! ive been TTC for 15months now, so you could imagine how many people ive heard about being preg.......the two ones for me that upset me are my BF has had a baby (and we started ttc the same time cos we wanted to be preg buddies) and my ex husband and his new GF have just had babies....they both had girls, the same flavour i want. I dont begrudge them their happiness it just heightens my frustrations towards not being able to concieve. I love spending time gooing and gahing over my friends baby but i think she avoids me cos she thinks it upsets me cos i dont have one of my own............esp after i mced last cycle........so not only am i frustrated in my body, im also made to feel like a lepar by people avoiding me.
Im having a Pity for me day today...........im just feeling a little bit at my wits end with his banging my head against a wall, and its mostly how long the stupid days take to wait for AF........I Hate that part the most
We will get there, we are entitled to have our meltdowns because i dont think theres anyone alive that can keep it together and put on a brave face 100% of the time

Yep, can totally relate, after four long years, one IVF cycle that ended in m/c, I can sooooo relate!!!!
Friends of ours that started TTC around the same time as us, have now not only had the first one but their second wee gorgeous girl was born a couple of months ago, sigh.
Hang in there, sending you

Yes, yes yes... I understand. All my closest friends have babies or are pregnant, and despite how lovely they are, and how much fun it is to play with the babies, you can't help but feel so left out. It would help if you knew you were going to have a baby on such-and-such a date... then you could get on with life until then, and you'd have that to look forward to. But as it is, it's this huge waiting (and hoping) game.
I live in fear that one of my sisters or SILs on my family's side is going to get pregnant. I don't mind so much about DH's side (my little neice is just a darling) but I think I'll break down if that happens.

oh big to you all. I have faith it will happen when the time is right. Remebr keep enjoying life and sex don't make it a chore there is evidence that suggests those that take the fun out of sex and make it a chore are less likely to get preggers
