after giving birth? I am having dreams about being able to lie starfish on my stomach, more so than eating any particular food or drink we have had to avoid!

So far I am looking forward to Sushi, sashimi, all the cheeses and cold meats that I cant eat.

Am planning on a small feast of the above with a nice cold glass of wine or bubbles.

I also really fancy the homemade chocolate mousse I make, mmm. So far its food I'm looking forward too. After five weeks of hardly eating a thing, it would be nice to be back to eating normally.

disco :)

SUSHI!!! This is the longest I've gone in my adult life without eating sushi - I used to get it maybe 2-3 times a week...

And raw oysters, sashimi, very rare steak, blue cheese and even just sandwiches from the bakery...

Having a glass of REALLY good wine!

Having a waist again (eventually)

Being able to get my shoes on and off easily

Running

Not having to try and balance a toddler on top of my ever expanding bump because she doesnt want to walk

Although I will miss the times when she stands with her arms around my legs playing hide and seek under my bump. Popping her head out and giving me the hugest smile imaginable .. then tucking her head in and "hiding" again lol

Oh and I ditto everyone on the sushi.

Not having carpal tunnel anymore! (Hopefully - it went away after last time).

A nice BOTTLE of red that I have sitting in my pantry from Christmas, getting my sex drive back (although if I remember rightly it came back in the 3rd tri last time) and basically just not being pregnant!

Oh one thing though a KB's chicken mayo roll yum yum. I still eat rice balls sometimes and will occasionally have soft serves so don't feel like I'm missing out that much.

Chicken shish kebab from my favourite kebab shop - I used to eat these all the time, I plan to go wild! DH has been given instructions to go and get my fave sushi for my first post-birth meal.

I've got a HUGE bump (I'm 37 weeks) and I am looking forward to walking down the street and not having some men stare at me in horror!

Can't wait till my belly button doesn't poke out anymore

Hahhaa... I've already "ordered" sashimi sushi with loads of wasabi and a big bottle of coke for lunch and smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese with a big cup of coffee for brekkie the very moment we've had bub (depending what time we have her).

So DH is all briefed on the menu.

And food aside, I'm so looking forward to being able to roll around in bed.
1st baby!
