Hey just wondering if you guys have got any tips for painful hips? They're REALLY bad at night all I could think of to try was the pillow between my legs but it didn't help and it's a pain hobbling around all day so any suggestions would be fantastic! Thanks

I try to stretch mine regularly. Sit as if you are going to cross your legs, but place on leg in front of the other. Then put palms of hands in front and 'walk' them forward until you can feel a stretch in the hip. The swap legs.

Hope this helps.

I too am experiencing the same thing. I tried the pillow thing at night but ended up getting frustrated having to move them all when I rolled over. Antiflam and baths are all that seems to eliminate some of the pain at the moment.

I usually put a wheatbag on mine at night while I watch TV which helps. I am having accupuncture for ms, she put needles in last time to help and said I was very tight down there. So am trying to book a massage which should hopefully help

When getting in and out of the car swivel around so both feet are on the ground before standing up.

Be very careful with antiflam- Peppermint oil is not good in pregnancy- sorry. Id be slathering myself in it otherwise trust me!!

I find a hot shower/bath then a stretch then rub oil w a drop or 2 of lavender oil in it. If you can- get DH to rub your legs too :)

I have to say my pain has eased a bit now... the worst time was between 28-32 weeks.. maybe I just have it under control now. fingers crossed tonight lol :)
