Topic: TMI Cervix Position Posted: 10 March 2009 at 8:51pm |
Um, sorry in advance for this.
I don't check my cervix positioning normally, but during the time I think I OV'd (CD 14-16) DP and I BD'd and I noted that BDing was notably uncomfortable and felt like I had internal brusing afterwards, like my cervix had been bashed around.
Would that indicate that my cervix is soft and low? High and hard? Or what?
This is the first time I can recall this ever happening so I am a little curious as to what and why?
Thanks in advance

Hey Amstaff - I really don't know a lot about cervical position and don't check it myself so can only tell you what I've read. When you Ov your cervix should be high, soft and slightly open, when your not fertile it is low, closed and hard. What you are describing would suggest low cervix?? However, I have also read that the cervix moves around a lot when BDing and this is NOT a good time to note position to determine fertility...
...so really not sure what it would indicate sorry

Hey freckle.
Thanks. Was hoping it was mor a good sign than anything.
I'm lost for this month, yesterday I thought my chances were good, now today I think I've got no chance.
Talk about emotional rollercoaster

But my question is....where the heck is the cervix...I have read about how it is supposed to feel but I wouldn't even know how to feel it and then I would not know if I had felt it if I tried!
This bit is TMI--------------
One thing I think happens to me is that down in that area generally feels kind of swollen if you know what I mean around ovulation time. I don't mean using my hands it does, it just does all on its own if that makes sense. I become more aware of the area down there whereas normally I don't even think about things down there.
And this month, didn't get any of that which is not a good sign if you ask me! Feel pretty unlikely that this is my lucky month damn it.

lol yeh I am feeling like that alot. one day i am 110% sure absolutely sure im pg, and the next day i feel like im not. i think it must be when im feeling a bit off (nausea, smell, cravings, stretching feelings, tired, hungry , vomit,....) thats when im sure im pg but on those rare days where i feel kinda normal i think that there is no way i am
So i am so with you on the whole rollercoaster thing
