a few times Megan has put her hand inside her nappy and started scratching. is this a normal toddler thing?

she doesn't appear to be in any pain and her genital area isn't red and she doesn't cry when I wipe her bottom when changing her nappy.

could it be worms? Not sure how else you could tell with that age of child except for the itching

I think it's probably worms as well. You can often see them - little while wiggles bits around her bottom. I would suggest you go and see the chemist.

I'd say either worms or excema both easily treated by common products available at the chemist.

Sounds like worms - they tend to come out at night or when your resting so check nappies (and bottom) when it is dark. You can get a childs worm treatment from the pharmacy.
