Apart from the usual waters breaking, bloody show and contractions what are some of the signs that you got that indicated labour was on it's way?

Had an upset tummy and couldn't settle. Didn't know what I wanted and was really restless, but this was about 8 hours before my waters broke, didn't have anything else. Had nothing the second time until my waters broke.

Same here Lisa, absolutely nothing the second time although I did start feeling a little weird in the hour before my waters broke but didn't think it had anything to do with labour.
First time around I had consistent BH's & they got more often & more regular over the week leading up. The day before labour started I didn't eat anything until about 11am when I realised that I hadn't eaten & forced food down. Also BH's started to develop a slight peak to them.

i felt off for a week before my waters broke (start of my labour). Kept having major breakdowns and panicking about the baby coming, I told my midwife i thought i was in labour (5weeks early) bubs arrived 4weeks early. THe feeling off and unsettled was a big thing for me.

I started with light period pains the day before and was feeling quite tired. That went on and off for most of the day then came back the next morning. I was induced that day but the CTG def showed I was having regular contractions. MW had to break my waters.

I had heaps of false labour in the 3 weeks before I had him. But when i actually went into labour my waters broke and then I got minor period like cramps right afterwards which gradually turned into contractions.

Upset stomach, for about a week I think was about my only symptom.
I spent hours googling symptoms but never really got anything
I had a tiny tiny tiny show the night before labour started and that was it.

With Dominic there was no early labor signs, I went to the toilet, stood up and my waters broke. I can remember being mortified because I thought I'd wet myself before I realised that it was different, my contractions didn't start for another 30mins. Although I do remember feeling as if I didn't want to leave the house, had a nesting feeling I guess.
With Isobelle I had a runny tummy (as we say for Dom!) and a sore back, I had light contractions for 48 hours before the midwife thought I was getting too tired and broke my waters. From there active labor only took 1.5hrs.

I think (memory shocking ) that I was throwing up a few nights before , and I had an achy back the week leading up to it, there may have been more indications but as I said, my memory is shocking
My waters didnt break til I was in established labour, then I went to the toilet and got my show, then I got stuck in the toilet ( i couldn't open the door quickly enough during each contraction ) and put ON a show for everyone else with my swearing at the effing door etc ....

Thanks ladies for all your replies. from what I can gather is is common to feel 'off' for up to a week before hand. But when the time comes for me I will prob have no warning whatsoever
