Topic: My DH is a dumba*ss Posted: 16 November 2008 at 4:57pm |
I love my DH, but he really is a dumb*ass.
I went and bought a swiss ball today as our Antenatal class has been talking about optimal birth position blah blah blah. I thought I had better get onto it as bubs has a tendancy to hang out in breech position.
So, DH jumps on the ball, and rolls head first into the dogs water bowl.
I guess you had to be there but i'm still in hysterics over it. My back and belly are so sore from laughing. Especially when he got straight back on and pretended nothing had happened.
So, what stupid things do your DH's do ladies?

Mine thought he was being really cool one day and did this big slide across our bed... well he overshot it and fell off and smacked his head on the wardrobe door What an egg!
Might be something about military guys? Ah well, I'm under no illusion, I married mine cos he's HHOOOTT not cos he's smart!

These are fantastic. I'm PMSL here
The latest one from my DH was when he was reading me a recipe I'd been sent and asked why he had to leave the room. I couldn't figure out what he was on about until I read the line he had just read which was...
"Place heaped tablespoons of the mixture onto a greased baking tray, leaving room for the
biscuits to spread"
I kid you not!

Bahahahahaha Kate!!
That's fantastic! I can just picture cookie mixture just waiting for you to leave the room before it springs into action
These are pretty funny.
DH's latest pearls of wisdom: (I'd just shut the bedroom door rather loudly, to prove a point)
DH: Good one, you just woke Hannah up!
Me: She was already awake!
DH: Well, you just woke her up MORE!!

OMG Bobbie!! That's hilarious!! I'm still laughing about that!!
My DH hasn't done too much apart from coming home drunk from a day at the races the day after we found out I was pregnant and telling me he was so excited about him being the mother of my child! When I laughed and questioned him about it he corrected himself by saying that I was the father of his child!!
Needless to say he has it under control now and understands that I'm the mother and he's the father.

Hahahaha Men aye.
My DH concussed himself by smacking his own rifle into his head on two different occasions (I'm talking full vomitting concussions)
1. On deployment, DH drops his MP3 player while on patrol so, while holding his rifle barrel down, leans down to pick it up and goes straight into his gun I mean seriously, he put it there himself. He still has the scar.
2. While crawling through a cargo net with his rifle at speed, he hooks the rifle accidentally in the net and continues crawling. Rifle doesn't move. DH does. BANG. Scar in the middle of his forehead still and was on light duties at work for a week cos he couldn't stand straight
Like I said. Didn't marry him for his brains
Ooo Ooo Ooo, then there's my dad....
He was connecting his sway bars in his 4WD while under it, which lowered the car down and he couldn't get out We all heard this yelling and yep he'd jammed his head under the car cos he couldn't get under the body kit He's a special, special man!

Hehe, I have these huge emotional outburst with DH on this one, "You should just know! How can we have been together for 10 years and you NOT know! You don't know anything about me, do you? You don't care? You never pay attention to me! How on earth can I be with someone who doesn't just KNOW when to get me chocolate! Why do you always have to be told!" he simply replies with something like "my telepathy is still broken"
men!

Ummm ... pretty close to the same thing, except he landed on his ass after he was lying on mine flat out and the dog licked his feet and tickled him so he over-balanced off.
Still, I shouldn't point the finger - I face planted into the couch when I first tried it out
