Help. Currantly I am sleeping my boy in drybees night nappy with two microfibre inserts and a hemp boaster which makes the nappy dam near impoosible to put on its so full but now that he has decided tht tummy is for him they keep leaking at the top.
He is in smalls which according to the website should fit til 8kgs, he is 6.6kgs. They are hard to fit round his chubby legs though so maybe they are too small.
What do people use for their tummy sleepers?

I have a tummy sleeper and have found that it doesn't matter how much stuffing there is, most nappies seem to leak out the top.
I was recommended a Stacinator fleece cover and haven't had a leak since I started using it. It just goes over the top of your normal nappy.

I've been using a tots bots bamboo fitted with a towelling booster and a cover and have had no leaks yet - even when he goes right through the night!

Maybe try more hemp and less microfibre? If he's sleeping on his tummy then he's probably putting pressure on the microfibre inserts at the front, which will react like a wet sponge! Try a Nix-Kidz hemp flat with a microfibre cloth or insert on top.

Also, I'd try upsizing his nappy - even though he's within the small weight range because you're having to add extra stuffing you'll probably find that he'd fit the next size up at nights.

A cover is probably the only way to really stop it. I've bought a couple of flexitots and a cover to see if it'll help. They're a high-rise nappy too so that could help - Livvy is a tummy sleeper as well.

Freesia I tried the flexitot but found they always leaked out the top... not sure why cause during day I find them more absorbant than the bamboozles!

The TotsBots website say that they are more absorbant than the bamboozles which is why I've gone for them. I'm still in the process of washing Livvy's to make them more absorbant before using them for nights. I'll have to watch out to see if Livvy's leak too. I think they're about ready to use now so I'll do a few daytime tests first.

I do use a bigger cover (size 1) with my bamboozles, so maybe that's it? I'll have to try it with a flexitot and see...

good luck

No leak for me last night and I was using a snazzipants fitted with a flat nappy (old style) folded up inside with a thirsties cover. He finished the night with an explosive poo (8days worth) and still no leak. Hmm maybe I'll try that again.
