I was like that at first with no 1 then when she was out it felt strange that there was no moving anymore, took me longer to get used there being no movement than getting movement.

haha! I used to wake up to a baby 'turning over'. Freaked me out everytime.
Also me and DH were looking at the bump one evening and an elbow popped about 2 inches up to greet us. Scared the bejaysus out of us
Small movements were fine but the big ones reminded me too much of the Alien movies

I can't wait to feel my baby move this time, I love it! But I do remember describing it to friends who'd never been pregnant as being like the scene from The Mummy when the scarobs are crawling under the guys skin - but nice.

After Leah was born by CS and I was in the ward looking at her in the bassinet, my belly started moving like she was still in there, MW said it was everything going back into place, THAT scared the c**p out of me at the time.
After Joel was born I didn't have that but had the afterpains instead, I didn't really get them with leah (that I remember, but there was a lot of other things going on at the time!!)

me too! I wonder if this one will be as active as Caitlyn , I would put a remote on my belly , she would kick it right off , and she would put her foot out so that i could actually grab it, then we would have a bit of a tug of war going on ....come to think of it , shes clearly been rebelling against me from an early age ....

Haha it freaked me out right till the end, and then I missed it (kind of). Damn hormones lol
Flutters are OK, being kicked in the bladder is not. Having a head stuck up your ribs isn't cool either. The only part I liked was knowing he was OK, the rest I could have taken or left.
