I've been getting them monthly for about 4 years now. Just wondering if anyone has had them through pregnancy?

Hiya
There was another thread on this a couple of months back "waxing the girly bits" or something but I can never get the search function to work so can't find it for you sorry
I have had two since I've been pregnant and due for another. The ladies at my place will only use the stuff that hardens and then they rip that off (rather than the old fashioned one, I can't remember the names) .. but that could be just coz it costs more LOL.

The one that is left to cool is called hot wax.
The one that is applied then a strip put on top and then taken off is called warm wax.
It is not because its cheapers, it is because the hot wax is a better wax to use for smaller areas and corse hair.

I usually do my own brazillians, but I'm not sure how that will work out as my belly gets bigger! Will be very difficult to see what I'm doing, hmm I'll have to get creative lol

You could always get your DH to do it for you I know some people have, but I refused to ask him, there's only so far into losing my dignity I will go lol. I used a mirror like I normally do (don't have a brazilian though, just bikini line etc), took ages but I got there in the end!

Thanks for the explanation re which is which Nefertiti
For those of you who go to a salon and are/have been pregnant - what do they do once you get further on in your pregnancy and can't lie flat on your back? Do you just sit upright?

I'm a therapist and do all my own waxing, I find it a hundred times less painful to do it myself. But I'm finding it difficult to breathe if not sitting with a straight back, so might have to suck it up and go get it done soon

Hi ladies, I found it much easier to get it done professionally. I think my last one while preggy was 4 weeks before I was due.
My beauty therapist just got me to lie on my back but with a pillow under my hip to support me. It was fine
