Has anyone ever had to take their kids for one?
Whats it like?

We finally got a referral for Jack to go to a specialist about his walking and we have to take him for a pelvic x-ray. Is it bad or pretty straight forward?

Caleb has had two to check out his hips. You put them on a bed, take their pants and nappy off, she taped a heart shaped guard over his privates. You put on a big heavy gown (after confirming you are not pregnant) and hold their legs firmly while the X-rays are taken. You wait while they check as babies/toddlers often wriggle and they need to re-do them. Its very straight forward.

yep it's straighforward and over really quickly.....jack has had 2 now for his hips and will need another one in 12mths

when is your appt rach?

Cool he had a hip ultrasound when he was a baby so it sounds pretty similar.

Um the xray is next Weds and then the appointment is the following Weds.
