Hi Nikki, I have 21 mth old identical twins Mercedes and Sienna, as well as Maya who is 5 and Chiara who is 2 weeks. I agree, watching them interact is so cute, they are totally adorable (except when they are hitting/biting/pushing each other lol!). They are so full on tho, like little hurricanes!

Hi Emma - Wow you are supermum!!! You must be kept very busy!! I have seen the pics of Chiara. She is beautiful. Congrats!!
Yep we have entered the little hurricane stage alright!! Its amazing what they can get up to & with a little bit of encouragment from the other. We have had a little of the hitting & pushing thing as well. There is not too much biting unless Bella will put her fingers in Ethans mouth on purpose & then thats just asking for it!!
How are Sienna & Mercedes on the talking side of things?

Hi Nikki
My name is Kelly, my twins have just turned 3, their names are Ryan and Katelyn and i have Blair who is nearly 6 and we are TTC no.4.
I agree with you, it was hard in the begining but now they are just great. The way they understand each other when i haven't got a clue wat they are talking about. Ryan & Katelyn play really well together (most of the time) and can be little skimers. They will get into anything they set there eyes on.

They don't talk a lot altho they are getting more and more vocal every day. Mercedes language is far better than Sienna's, but they have both had ear problems and grommets which may be part of the reason why they have been slow to talk.
LOL Kas, gremlins are big time schemers too, I hate to think what they'll be up to at Ryan and Katelyns age coz they're bad enough at 21 mths!

I know....... I'm sad tonight coz we just had their birthday party ( 9 days early coz my big bro was up from welly) and it all just seems so scary and only like yesterday that they were stuck in hospital and I was expressing every 3 hours through the night..........
But then, some things have gone really fast too. Oh well, I guess 12 - 24 months has it's own set of challenges huh

Hi I'm Trish and I have 6 month old twins
My two are very much aware of each other now and will stop and stare if the other one is crying. At least they don't join in
Love the stealing dummys game.

It surely does! But also so much fun coz they really start to become their own little people and watching them interact is just priceless.
I get what you mean about being a bit sad, I can't look at photos of the girls as babies without getting really anxious remembering how hard things were in the early days.
Happy birthday Ashleigh and Jessica!

Hey tishy, my two did that at that age too, now, they get really anxious, and come looking for the reason for the crying. Very rarely does the other join in thankfully!!!!!

The other night I put Mercedes to bed early coz she wasn't well and Sienna packed a paddy and went and brought me her sleep sack and demanded to go to bed too! They have to do everything together!

Awwwwwww that's so sweet of Sienna!
I felt very emotional and proud of what we had achieved at the 3 month mark. We spent time in NICU as well so the girls changed soo much in those first few months.

HI ALL - YAY so many mummas with twins!!!!
Yes my two also love the dummy game.
Ethan & Bella dont talk to much yet, they have perfected their language that they talk to each other with. Makes no sense to me tho very very cute.
Travelgirl I was the same. When it came to their birthday party I was a little teary too. It just comes around so fast!!!
Tishy thats very cute. I have a very sensitive wee man. Whenever his sister is upset he starts crying right away. He seems to feel sad for her. Its quite sweet really

I'll say Tishy, just SURVIVING the first three months is a milestone in itself, esp for those of you whose bubs had time in NICU.
