charli has had a cold for the past couple of days, then bad nappy rash which started to look like thrush....now today i noticed a rash on her belly and back.....could this be the start of chickenpox?

the rash on her 'trunk' doesn't look like pimples but just your average red, un-raised rash. the pox is going around her daycare at the moment and one of her little friends has been away for a week because of it, so i wouldn't be surprised if it is......

in my experience, an unraised tummy rash like that is usually just the sign of having a bug such as a cold. Hope so!

yeah it is still looking the same after a few hours, so probably not the pox......phew!

when she went to bed tonight the rash was still there.....but not looking like a pimple or a blister....just a red rash. it covers her tummy and back right down to her butt and 'front butt'

she had a slight temp tonight but it went down with panadol so i'm going to take her to the dr tomorrow if the rash still there and not looking like pox

probably nothing...but i haven't seen the lovely dr for a while
