when did your baby start latching themselves on. My girl has started doing this lately...finds my nipple and away she goes..sure does make it easier when feeding her.

it will also be interesting if she is child weaned or mummy weaned.

Um can't remember, a wee while now. When I was at the MCU I was asked about BF by a new Mum who queried not having to shape and insert, she also commented that I made it look easy

DH gets Blair up for his last feed and Blair is often latched on and sucking before we are both comfy! You're right, it definately makes things easier!

You might find that she also starts getting herself on and off all the time and having a good look around. That can get quite frustrating, but it is a phase (with A it was a phase of a few months...), and she still does it, but not as much

yup she does the on off on off thing. I have to tell DH off if he makes unnecessarily noise as she will unlatch straight away. to have a look around.

I bought her on of those mesh feeders so I can give her things like banana nectarines etc without worrying about her choking.

Ahhh bf after 6mos is so much easier!! I have bf all mine for about 11mos. The trap is, for subsequent babies you gotta remember to start way back at the basics.
