Ahhh ... 'tis a common problem when you are TTC and, I'm afraid, there is absolutely no help for it!

I'm the same disco, sometimes I think of little else.  I trawl the internet looking at new prams and cloth nappies and make plans for room decorating etc.

I'm not TTC yet either  I'm just hopeless.

Hey there, this month I was shocking, nearly made myself sick worrying, couldn't sleep and couldn't think of anything else - its torture!

When I was TTC (before I had Michaela) when I saw a woman with more than one child my jealous side would flare up and I'd think about how selfish she was, lol, hogging all the kids.

Yeah, thinking all the time here too, and DH isn't even on the 'trying' team! Goodness knows how I'll be when we're *really* trying...

same here - don't sleep well - love looking at the baby stuff avaialble on the internet. Work has taken a back seat and my mind is a bit of a mush at the moment.

It is a save bet to say that ttc consumes your mind - hehe - I think we all have a case of ttc brain

I can not wait to be in the position to start buying stuff and decorating the room. Also the idea of being pg fills me with a dreamy glow.

Just need to get pg first, if only it was that simple...ggrrr

I think its very normal, I keep trying to find ways of being able to afford to start sooner. Its quite frustrating I'm supposed to be home studying for my exam tomorrow, and I'm getting distracted trying to work out when we can afford to start TTC.

We have an empty room at home now that our flatmate has moved out and I want to fill it with a baby.
Anyway better go do some study, and stop thinking about babies.

Doesn't help as I'd planned to start next Wed when I turn 35 but our finances are saying no we have to wait. argh!

You may as well start trying fleury, it could take a while, and plus if everyone waited till they had more money etc etc then no one would ever have babies!! (well that's what I say to DH anyway )

OMG I soooooooo hear you on this... I know women talk about baby-brain or nappy-brain but TTC-brain can be debilitating!

I'm another that should be being industrious at work, but no, I find myself on here or daydreaming about being PG/being a mum - or lately because I'm newly an Aunty, I'm taking all my cluckiness out on my nephew.... and I haven't even met him yet, he's in another city - but when I do he'll have a sh*te load of knitted baby goodies!!

my husband and i run our own business and well I'm not getting a lot done since we began ttc last month! its ridiculous!

between, making the decision to actually start trying, to then wondering if I'm ovulating, to then wondering if I might be pregnant to wondering if its AF coming or possibly implantation bleeding, I'm emotionally drained and its only the first month LOL!

I have all the admiration in the world for those of you who have been trying for a while!

Yup totally agree. We would looove to be in a better financial position when we want to ttc #2 but we won't be. We will find a way to make it work, otherwise we would be waiting forever.

I'm more worried it will happen straight away, I'd be more than happy to stop BCP and let things just happen.

DH is always worried about how we will manage. I know we will as I've never been out of a job since I was 12, and I've always managed find extra income when I need it.

At 35 its the health of my eggs thats the concern.

I second that - starting early is better than finding out too late.
